He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital where he was an integral part of the medical staff for the New York Jets (NFL) and New York Islanders (NHL).Dr. Goodwillie is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who addresses a wide range of athletic injuries with detailed assessment and care; including acute tendon and ligament injuries, chronic tendon and overuse injuries, sprains/strains, fractures, and any other sports injuries.
